College Fees

Total Fees (24-month programme):   RM 95,700 (commencing July 2020 batch onwards)

Total Fees (18-month programme):   RM 65,300

  • Fees include tuition, library, three meals a day, laundry and lodging, but exclude additional costs such as lab coat, text book, universities application fees (UCAS), Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) A-Level examination fee and IELTS examination fee.  The additional charging vary according to programme and range between RM2,000 to RM3,800 per student.
  • Other chargeable items are extra-curricular clubs and martial arts that require outside coaches, house trip activities and medications prescribed from the outside clinics and hospitals.
  • Fees will be reviewed annually.  For the avoidance of doubt, KYUEM reserves the right to revise the fees payable for any given semester.

· Commitment fee of RM5,000 to be paid upon acceptance of offer. Commitment fee is non-refundable and shall be taken up as the total fees payable. But if student leaves the programme for any reason at any time, this fee will be forfeited.

· Deposit of RM8,000 will be used as a security against any non-payment of fees. If fees are paid up in full until that date, the deposit will be set off against the final instalment.

· On the registration day, students are required to pay a deposit of RM8,000, registration fee of RM550 and the first installment of their chosen mode of installment.

· The remaining installments, must be made upon receiving invoices/bills from the College. The invoices would be sent to parents at the beginning of the payment term.

2. JomPAY

JomPAY is a National Online Bill Payment Scheme that allows students to pay fees conveniently and securely with either their Current, Savings or Credit Card accounts. Login to Internet or Mobile Banking Service to make payment via JomPAY. To learn more about JomPAY, visit www.jompay.com.my.

3. Over The Counter

Payment can be made at Finance Department located inside the Administration Office.

  • Instalments are to be paid on the due dates, failing which KYUEM shall serve the parents/guardians reminders in writing.
  • Delay in payment (30 days after due dates) may lead to the temporary suspension from KYUEM, students will not be allowed into classes or have any access to college facilities or their academic records until the outstanding fee is paid and late payment charges of 5% will be imposed after the grace period.
  • If there is outstanding fees at the end of the student’s course, students’ A-Level CAIE results may be withheld by the College, which would then affect students’ application into universities.
  • Non-payment of the fees will lead to the termination of the student’s place at KYUEM.
  • If students still did not pay even after they left the College, KYUEM would have no other recourse but to commence legal proceeding.  If the matter goes that far, the students/parents/guardians will be liable for all attorney fees and court costs.
  • The Registration Fees and Commitment Fees paid are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Refunds for students who withdraw after tuition has been paid, but prior to registration and the first day of classes, will be 100% of tuition. After the beginning of classes, refunds will be calculated as follows: a refund of 90% for withdrawal during the first week of the term, a refund of 75% for withdrawal during the second and third weeks of the term, a refund of 50% for withdrawal during the fourth week of the term, and a refund of 25% for withdrawal during the fifth week of the term.  No refund will be made after the fifth week of the term.
  • When a request for refund is desired, the request has to be explicitly expressed in writing via the Exit Clearance Form and in accordance to the guidelines stipulated in this policy.  Any amount to be refunded are subject to the approval and discretion of the College.
  • In the event that a refund is requested and the fees due are not paid, KYUEM reserves the right to charge the fees accordingly and utilise the Deposits to offset the outstanding amount due to KYUEM in the computation of fees.
  • Please note that refunds will not be immediate or automatically.  They will be processed in a timely manner, subject to the College authorisation process and bank processing timings.
  • The College reserves the right to review and make changes to this Policy from time to time.
