PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

KYUEM is to be found near the Selangor – Perak border in a tranquil location, some 3km from the North-South expressway. It offers an environment without external distraction and is highly conducive to focused study and the acquisition of life skills. We have a fully residential campus for our 500+ students.

Our academic success over the years has led to the conferment of Cambridge International Fellowship status and a reputation of academic excellence. Our students leave us with internationally recognised qualifications, facilitating the next stage of their education.

KYUEM has an extensive range of facilities that include a sports hall (badminton, squash and weight training) and outdoor courts for tennis, volleyball, netball and basketball. We have a football / rugby pitch and an Olympic – sized swimming pool. All our students have their own bedroom and a choice of dining hall or cafeteria at which to eat.

Our teachers are highly qualified for the delivery of Cambridge (CAIE) A Levels across a broad range of arts, science, mathematical and humanities-based subjects. We are assisted by an administrative team of the highest calibre, ensuring the smooth running of the college.

The support network KYUEM offers its students is of paramount importance. It includes our Academic Office which monitors educational progression on a frequent basis. Our University Relations Office has established links to many of the world’s top universities and has an exceptional success rate in the placement of our students at these destinations. Significantly our Student Services Office provides KYUEM students with a pastoral tutoring system, a Clinic staffed with 3 qualified nurses and a Counsellor. We take care of the physical health and emotional well-being of our students and are fully aware of the pressure their academic ambition places upon them.

KYUEM has an eclectic and vibrant extra-curricular programme involving full use of all the aforementioned sporting facilities. We endorse the Duke of Edinburgh International Award for Young People and a variety of cultural and artistic outlets that lead to multicultural participation in numerous events and performances. They are a microcosm of Malaysia’s rich diversity, celebrated by all and integral to our students’ personal enrichment.

KYUEM is alert to the need for self-evaluation and ongoing development. Our upgraded infrastructure includes new student accommodation, a block of new classrooms, a newly refurbished dining hall and new resource centre. By the end of 2019 our new Great Hall will be ready.

KYUEM is a bridge from secondary to higher education, effectively a platform for international study and the first steps of professional growth. We cordially invite you to visit our college during our Open Days or at any other mutually convenient time.
